Philippians 1:6

..being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ... Charlie got his hearing aid today. That's Dr. Jeep in the picture. And while I'm glad that he won't have any delays cause he can hear on both sides now, its still makes me feel sad. Sad that he has to go through this, sad that I don't know how to make it go away right away, and still so grateful that he's HEALTHY. I know God will complete his ear, one way or another. Until that day this is what he has....
It looks like this in his ear..... He doesn't seem to mind to much, although he does get 'feedback' every once in awhile.

Charlie at 4 Months

Wow, it's been 4 months. He's a great baby. He's been sleeping through the night since about 2 1/2 months. He's soooo SMILEY and loves to laugh--particularly at his Dad. He can roll over from his stomach to his back and holds his head up really well on his tummy....as you can see from the pictures.
We are going back to the audiologist on Friday to pick up his 'amplifier'. (hearing aid) Right now we are at a stand still with his ear--they won't do anything major until he is at least 5. We love this little boy and are so happy we had him.

Laughs

Alaina wanted to walk home from Nana's the other day, so I let her and Jonah walk together while I followed them in the car. It was soooo much fun seing them together. Jonah loves to do everything Alaina does and they held hands the whole way--(I told them to) Jonah pointed to stuff and Alaina pulled him along. It was hillarious seeing them interact like that.
They had me laughing, and thinking how great it is being their mom. This is Charlie laughing. The video isn't so great cause I was holding the camera with the same arm I was holding him with. It's cute anyway though!

Just a Day, Just an Ordinary Day

The kids wanted to play in the snow, so Jesse took them out. They 'buried' Alaina like she was at the beach. This is everyone by the 'trampoline'. Now, I wish I could go outside and play with them, but instead I'm inside.....hanging out with this guy....and I don't mind a bit.
