Mr. Blue Eyes

My little boy loves to watch TV--particularly the movie Cars. Okay, Pause to tell you he's sitting in my lap while I'm typing, and he just fell asleep. His head keeps falling, I have to prop it up with my head and arm. I love these 'Mommy' moments. Un-pause. Anyway, I took a couple shots of my blue-eyed boy this morning watching Cars...Bonus Shot: (The best I can do with my 50mm lens on, while sitting at my desk.)

New Boyfriend(s)

Alaina came home from school today and informed me that she had two boyfriends now AND they know about it! So I asked her what their names were and she told me. One boy is in her class and one boy is not. I asked her what the other boy looked like, she smiled and drew a stick figure in the air right in front of her. All I can tell you is that her mystery man has a head, a smiley mouth, eyes, nose, body, arms, hands, legs and feet. That's all for now. Don't mention this to her, it might embarass her! I thought it was too cute not to share.

The Circus

I decided to surprise Alaina with a trip to the circus in Farmington. At the last minute, Jesse told me he could go with me. That made the day a WHOLE LOT EASIER. We picked Alaina up early from school and headed down there. The circus was fun, Alaina had a blast. Jonah was not ready to sit still that long, but he made it through.
My favorites were the elephants. This lady was hillarious. She sat up there the whole time the elephants were doing their tricks, dancing with her arms--the same motion, over and over and over. I felt sorry for her, her arms were probably very tired! Alaina was being super sweet to her brother, and he was being sweet back. Join with me in saying, "AWWWWW!"

This is a close up of an elephant--I think they are so cute.
This is Jesse and Jonah's favorite. Jonah saw this picture and made the sound of the motorcycle. He thought it was pretty cool.
This part always makes me a little nervous. I know there is a big cage around them, but big cats are scary! They are also pretty cool. They are so strong and agile. All their jumps and tricks seemed so effortless.
They look like they are going to eat him. One of the tigers was actually a little fiesty toward the trainer. Made me nervous, but it ended up being my favorite kitty of the night.

Spring/Summer

I changed my background cause I'm ready for spring, actually summer. All spring is here, is mud. I'm ready for flowers and shorts and warm evening walks.
