She's Seven!

She started out small.... 5 pounds 1 ounce....on oxygen.....We loved her instantly..... Who wouldn't? Long days in the NICU.....but only for 2 1/2 weeks, then she was all ours...
A Year Later.......
Another year and she added some height, some spunk, and A LOT more talking!.....
Always happy, always talking......at 3.....
Getting more beautiful.... more personality...... more games.......more talking......

My favorite picture of her EVER!!!!!.....5 Years Old.....

More Independence..... more assertive..... more talking.....
This was taken in October, I haven't taken her 7 year old pictures, but this will do for now.....
Time Flies when you're having fun. She's so talkative, sweet, dramatic, and spunky. We wouldn't have it any other way.

Charlie at 3 Months!

I don't know how much he weighs, or how tall he is, but I know that HE IS CUTE! I mean look at that smile...!!!!!!
And this one....!!!!!Okay, is this not the sweetest face?! Or is this the sweetest face?!Anyway, he has gotten so smiley, and talkative, and is lifting his head so well. He rolled over from his stomach to his back on my birthday. He is such a source of joy in our lives. We look into his eyes and he smiles and it reminds us what's important. We love him.

Christmas

The 'Sanderfords'
The 'Wrays' Christmas was great--We had 3 (again) this year. We spent Christmas eve at my mom's and went to the service at her church. My 3 sisters and I sang again this year, except this time we sang more than one song! I wasn't quite as nervous this time. After the service we went back to mom's, ate dinner, and opened presents. It was chaotic, but lots of fun.
The next morning we had a little Christmas with just me, Jesse, and the kids at home. It was fun to be just us, I really like those times.
A little later we went to Paula and Quentin's to have breakfast and open presents again. This year we did presents 'one at a time', it was a lot funner to see everyone's reaction and it was less chaotic. We didn't get to stay very long cause we had planned to go to a movie that afternoon. We met Jenny and Daniel at the movies and saw Tangled. It was sooo cute--one 'ugly' part and a stupid 'it's only natural to rebel' speech, but other than that it was really cute. (The 'old lady mom' was a little creepy too ) Anyway, we went and rented skis after that and my eye started to turn red--After getting skis for Jesse, Alaina, Daniel and Caleb, we went back to mom's for dinner, then went home early. The next morning Jesse and the above mentioned people headed off to ski at Hesperus, and my mom took me to Urgent Care. My eye was almost swollen shut that morning. After waiting an hour and a half, 4 1/2 minutes with the doctor, and a trip to the pharmacy, I'm on the road to recovery. My eyes are still bothering me today, but they are getting better.
Now, to come later...( Charlie at 3 months old!)

How Does He Love Me?...

How does he love me? Let me count the ways:

1. He rocks the baby at night so I can get extra sleep--even though he works hard all day.

2. He changes the cat litter.

3. He helps me clean.

4. He helps me do laundry.

5. He works.

6. He lets me stay home with the kids.

7. He spends hours on the phone with the insurance company so I don't have to (it makes me VERY STRESSED)

8. He spends hours on hold with the insurance company.

9. He keeps calling the insurance company to get things worked out.

10. He talks to the doctors offices that call wondering why the claim was denied after they call me and I lose it (cry, call the insurance company a name, and hang up)

11. He gives me a hug after a hard day of dealing with the insurance, fussy kids, messy house, and not enough hours in the day.

12.He'll stay up with the baby if he's not going to sleep, so I can go to sleep.

13. He tells me I'm hot.

14. He loves me no matter how flabby my tummy looks.

15. He gives me a hug when I'm mad about something, instead of reacting the way I am.

16. He lets me go to the Nutcracker for my birthday and still wants to buy me another present.

17. When I went to Denver with my mom, he built me a TV shelf, bed platform, and rain shower head.

18. He let me go to Denver with my mom.

19. He is patient when I am grumpy.

20. He let me get a dog.

21. He bought me a car.

22. He bought me a dishwasher.

23. He's always trying to make things better.

24. He watches the kids when I need a break.

25. He laughs at me.

26. He laughs with me.

27. He laughs in his sleep (okay, that's not really a sign that he loves me, but it's something I love about him)(Jonah does it too, and Charlie actually did it once.)

28. He'll ask me out and still like me when I tell him I can't cause I have to clean the house (I was 14 and a guy had never asked me out before)

29. He kisses me.

30. He let me make my cat an indoor cat again after she got attacked by a dog.

31. He does the cat litter (I know I mentioned that once before, but it's worth mentioning twice)

32. He loves God.

33. He loves my kids (they are his too! :)

34. He doesn't make fun of me when I try to make our Christmas tree fit in the base by wrapping rags around the bottom of it.

35. He waited on me hand and foot while I was recovering from the CSection.

36. He got me to the hospital really fast when I bled during my pregnancy (with Alaina and Charlie)

37. He tells me I look pretty.

38. He respects me.

39. He works hard for us.

40. He brings me dinner when he's in town.

41. He made me a desk.

42. He goes to Drs Appointments with me.

43. He pays the bills and balances the check book.

44. He understands when I say I feel like I can't handle things.

45. He's not upset if he comes home and the house is messy.

46. He's not upset if he comes home and I'm still in my pjs.

47. He notices when I clean up (myself or the house) :)

48. He plays with the kids so I can get some stuff done.

49. He'll make me eat when he notices I'm grumpy cause I'm hungry.

50. He'll tell me when I'm being grumpy for a stupid reason.

51. He listens to me.

52. He knows I'll eventually get back to normal and be able to keep up with things better, and he waits patiently.

KLove, KBub, Caleb

Today I'm thankful for my nephew Caleb. Last Wednesday, he got hit by a car. He was standing at the back of his car when a car pulled into the parking lot and slid into him on the ice. Angels were all around him protecting him. He was fine--just a couple of bumps and bruises. He was taken to the hospital anyway, just to be sure he was okay. The lady that hit him had to back up her car cause the tip of his shoe was stuck under her tire. My mom called me and told me he was hit by a car, that she thought he was okay, but didn't really know what was going on. I started to pray, and over and over all I could say was, "Thank you God for Caleb" There was such an atmosphere of praise in my prayers. I've never prayed like that before; it was amazing. There was no fear there, just praising God for Caleb, that he's a child of promise, and that God has great plans for his life. Caleb was home within a few hours playing like normal! (This picture is over a year old, he looks more grown up now) As for the post title: Alaina calls him Klove, Andrew (his brother) calls him Kbub, and I call him Caleb.

Family Time

It's the last few days of fall, and that is sad. It is sad because I'm just now feeling energetic enough to go outside and it's getting too cold to go outside (with a little baby). Today we had a great time on the trampoline--ALL of us were out there--Charlie was in his car seat. The rest of us jumped. We played a game and watched the kids do 'tricks'. It was so much fun. I looked around at my family and felt so thankful for them.
One of Alaina's tricks..
Jonah jumping....

The kids on the swing set (Don't worry, Jesse was holding Charlie from behind)

Fall Family Tradition

Every year we go to Berri Park on Middle Mountain and take fall pictures. First time as a family of 5 and it went really well. Some of us slept the whole time.... Some of us played the whole time....Others were perfect models..... (can you believe this picture? how grown up she looks?!) First picture of the 3 kids together.
This is a tradition that started in '02. Jesse pretends to look for whoever is on the rock. Don't know why, but we take this every year.

Here are some newborn pictures I took of Charlie.
