Spring

These are my thoughts on spring. There are supposed to be budding flowers, and beautiful days with slight warm breezes. There should be cute little birds chirping and bunnies hopping through the new green grass.


I HATE MUD. Right now, I do see cute litle birds, but they are not chirping; they are hopping around a big chunck of ice looking for little bits of food. There are no flowers in sight, just layer upon layer of pine needles on layer upon layer of mud sitting next to piles of ugly half melted snow. WELCOME TO SPRING AT VALLECITO!

Updates

Okay, so my goal was to update this blog about once a week. Well, I haven't done that, but I have and excuse--actually 2. 1. The pictures I wanted to upload, didn't upload. (I tried it twice) 2. Jonah was really sick for a couple weeks, and I forgot about it? Anyway, whatever the excuse, here's an update.



I have a stack of pictures on my desk that is 3 inches high, at least. And this is just from the month of February. It's a good thing I went digital, cause that would be expensive if it was film. Here are a few of those pictures....

Jesse took this. Jonah was really excited about playin with his cars. He's all boy! Alaina and Jonah play so sweetly together.


Alaina in her gymnastics class. She loves it, and I have a lot of fun watching her, wishing I could also play on the balance beam.
