Things That I Love (In No Particular Order)

1) Jonah's Smile

No matter what mood I'm in this little man's grin melts me!.

2) Taking Pictures

seeing what my camera can capture--the memories--the people--the colors; I never tire of it

3) When My Computer Works

as silly as this sounds, my life is so much more peaceful when it works-my stress level goes 0 to 60 in 1/2 a second when it doesn't work-I'm not quite sure why it bothers me so.

4) Glitter

I was recently reintroduced to glitter at a pre-school story time at the Library. I'd forgotten how fun it is to draw a design in glue, sprinkle glitter, pour the excess with the paper folded-and how pretty the resulting picture is. I love Sparkles!

5) Spending Time Alone With Jesse

It doesn't happen often enough, but I treasure our dates-and talking to each other-remembering what it was like before we had kids :)

6) Shopping

To me it's therapeutic. I love spending money, buying nice things, especially baby and kids clothes. Don't get me wrong-I actually don't do this very often.

7) Scrapbooking

Combining the childish cut and paste fun with the pictures I love, with pretty paper-the possibilities are endless.

8) Sewing

Albeit stressful at times, making clothes or quilts, I love seeing the end project. I love looking at and choosing and especially buying beautiful fabric.

9) My Dog

I wanted her for a very long time before I got her. She smells, she's dirty, she's hyper, she's cute, and SHE LOVES ME!

10) Alaina's Laugh

It's deep and throaty, it's goofy and it's GENUINE. She finds humor in hidden places. I WISH I could be more like that.

Alaina is Five

I just wanted to share with you how beautiful my daughter is. She's a little dramatic, very very funny, and very very imaginative. She makes each day so exciting and enjoyable. How could she not with a smile like that?

Here are pics from our ski trip on Friday...

Waiting for Ski School to start. Doesn't she look cool?

Big Jumps!!! WOO HOO!

So I did something for the first time the other day. I went straight down a Blue, not turning, just shifting my weight from side to side. I've never done this before, and it may be seemingly insignificant, but not for me. I've
come a long way from sliding down the hill on my butt, which I also did on Friday! (It was down a black though, so I have an excuse!)
